T-Mobile Center Rules

You can maximize your enjoyment of the show and avoid any issues with T-Mobile Center security by following the rules below. If a specific event allows for items listed below, it will be noted in the show description. If you have any questions, you can contact T-Mobile Center at 816.949.7000.

Understanding the venue rules helps you avoid delays. T-Mobile Center enforces policies designed to maintain safety and enhance everyone’s enjoyment.

All guests must pass through metal detectors and submit to bag checks upon entry. Security personnel screen for prohibited items that could disrupt the event. Checking the specific event requirements before you leave home prevents disappointment at the door.

For example:

  • » You may not carry weapons of any kind, including firearms, knives, or pepper spray.

  • » You cannot bring outside food or beverages into the arena (except for medical necessities, like baby formula).

  • » You need special permission from event organizers for professional cameras with detachable lenses.

  • » Most events allow smartphones and point-and-shoot cameras. You should check your event’s policies for specific details.

  • » You face strict restrictions on recording devices, audio equipment, and video.

  • » The venue permits small purses and clutches that are 12″ by 6″ by 12″ or smaller. Anything larger may not be permitted for entry.

If they’re expecting a large crowd, the venue may enforce clear bag policies.

Smoking and Vaping Regulations

T-Mobile Center prohibits smoking and vaping throughout the entire facility, including in restrooms and private suites. There are designated smoking areas outside the building near the Oak Street entrance at Section 105 and on the Konica Minolta Founders Club terrace.

Re-entry is not allowed during any T-Mobile Center event once your ticket has been scanned. The only exception is for guests escorting service animals to the animal relief area, who must notify the Guest Services Manager prior to exiting to ensure re-entry.

Parents and Children Ticketing

Family-friendly shows welcome young children, though evening concerts may restrict entry by age. Always verify age requirements when purchasing tickets to avoid issues at the door. Young children must remain with an accompanying adult.

General Conduct

You will want to stay within the bounds of T-Mobile Center’s guest conduct policies, including those that prohibit disrupting others’ enjoyment. For example, standing on chairs, obstructing views, using offensive language, and engaging in physical altercations may result in action by security personnel. Intoxicated guests who behave disruptively may face removal without ticket refunds.

In strict compliance with ADA requirements, service animals accompanying guests with disabilities are welcome. You must keep service animals leashed or harnessed at all times. Emotional support animals that do not qualify as service animals under ADA guidelines may face restrictions.
